Color Coded Leveled Playing Test Charts for Recorder Ukulele Band and Orchestra

Do you find it difficult to meet some of the teacher evaluation requirements in the music room? How can we display student work in our classrooms? Using these display charts can help showcase your students' work and progress within the realm of performance!

This purchase comes with four editable Excel files (.xlsx) that correlate with Plank Road Publishing's Recorder Karate program, but can be customized to fit any songs or instruments. You will get two Color Excel files that have columns that match the colors of each level, and two B/W Excel files with the color of each level indicated at the top. These files are ready to be customized with your students' names. They are formatted in both 8.5 x 11 and 8.5 x 14. In my classroom, I used a B/W 8.5 x 11 checklist for myself where I wrote in the students' grades on each song. I printed the color chart in 8.5 x 14 so it would be large enough to fit the entire class. The students loved to put up their stickers on the chart when they passed each song. The B/W 14" and both of the Color files are formatted with boxes that will fit small chart stickers. These charts can accommodate class sizes up to 28 students.

Tips for Use: Enter student names into the spreadsheet. Make sure you choose a printer that can print on the correct paper size for your file. Double-check (using the Print Preview option) that your margins are set correctly and the correct paper size is selected. If you have any questions, please contact me for help!
