Comparing and contrasting takes a lot of practice and these passages are perfect to meet the needs of all your readers.
There are 25 pages included in this product with two passages per page.
There passages have the students comparing and contrasting characters, while others are comparing and contrasting similar topics.
These passages vary in reading level. There are Lexile Levels from 2nd grade through 4th grade included in this product.
Venn Diagrams are included on the same page as the passages to conserve paper and to make it easy for your students to transfer information from the passage to the graphic organizer.
I have added answer keys to this product. There are about 3-5 answers given per part of the Venn Diagram.
Students will be comparing:
- fiction text to fiction text
- nonfiction text to fiction text
- nonfiction text to nonfiction text
