Construction Math and Literacy Centers are loaded with fun, hands-on construction- themed activities to help your students build math and literacy concepts! Perfect for a construction and community helpers theme. It now includes two fine motor centers, one writing center, six literacy centers, and eight math centers.
The literacy skills covered are letter identification, beginning sounds, letter writing or letter formation, syllables, sight words, building — vocabulary words, writing/journaling, and beginning reading skills. Math skills covered are counting, one-to-one correspondence, informal addition, informal subtraction, writing numbers/number formation, number sequence, making ten, more or less, 2D shapes, 3D shapes, graphing and data collection, non-standard measurement, maps, and STEM.
Each activity has a page of teacher tips to help you create the activity easily and ensure it will go smoothly.
