Course Syllabus Template Flipped Classrooms

This syllabus template is a unique and valuable resource for teacher's who wish to implement a condensed and simple format for their students to follow.

1. Break your lesson plan into 10 digestible Units for your students to achieve mastery throughout the year. You will be surprised by the level or organization you will see from the students if you allow the to experience their lessons in segments.

2. Assign homework prompts for them to complete throughout the unit and have them turn in it on ONE DATE. This is tricky at first, however, students QUICKLY learn time management skills that will prove useful to them for their future experiences in education.

3. List due dates, pages numbers, chapters, etc. to provide easy to find information and decrease the likelihood of the questions that drive teachers a little crazy (Do I need my book? What are we doing today? Are we learning today? When is the homework due? etc.).

This template was created for an Honors Chemistry course taught at a college preparatory school. Tweak it to your subjects and chapters and you will find great success in student organization and flipping!
