Description
Storyboarding and comic strips help students focus on what is most important in a scene. It’s also a great way to combine art and literacy.
Students could use their own ideas, or dissect a single scene from a book or play. This resource can be used as a standalone project or as part of a larger literacy or art unit.
This resource includes a 2-page template for creating storyboards, and 4 different templates for a comic strip.
I originally created this project as an activity students could work on while we were rehearsing our class play. With some upfront teaching on storyboarding, students are then able to independently work on their comic strips allowing you to focus on directing individual scenes!
