What educators are saying
This was the perfect resource for teaching the Cuban Missile Crisis at the end of the year in a rush because I haven't covered all of my standards. This is definitely something I would use again.
This was an awesome resource to get students thinking about and engaged with information on the Cuban Missile Crisis!
Description
Students are placed in the shoes of President John F. Kennedy on October 16th of 1962. The students will be presented with information about the Cuban Missile Crisis. The advisors have presented you with 5 different options of potential actions to take against the Soviet Union and/or Cuba. Students must weigh the pros and cons of each action and decide what action appears to be the best. Students will then research options to see what option President Kennedy actually took. A series of reflection questions with a key is also provided.
