Curriculum Tools CC Mathematics and Fountas & Pinnell (F&P) Reading and Writing

This is a more sophisticated set of smart tools that help you quickly access and sort Common Core Mathematics standards and Fountas and Pinnell reading and writing standards. The mathematics standards have been mapped into a unit structure that aligns more closely to how we teach (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, measurement).

The Mathematics tool incorporates RIT elaborations (very useful if you are using MAP assessments). These elaborations help you to more accurately teach each of the CCSS standards as they provide their own mini scope and sequence for each standard. These elaborations are also specifically sorted into the three IB levels of abstractions and into CCSS levels of abstractions. These abstractions can help you detail which “depth” of learning apply (conceptual, transferring knowledge to symbols, and applying skills with conceptual understanding).

This tool lets you sort by domain (Geometry, Measurement, and Data, or Number) grade level or strand, or any combination of the three. Additionally, we have some very simple linear mapping tools that are similar but have a less sophisticated navigation system. You can find all these tools within our TPT page or our website.
