Description
The Deaf Awareness WebQuest is a great way for students to further their understanding of Deaf culture and communication norms. This document can be used as a digital, paperless activity by placing it in to Google Classroom and making a copy for each student. Or you can delete the “type answer here” text, make copies for the students, and allow them to use a device to search the web. Students can use the shortened URL and explore the webpage to learn about Deaf culture by answering the questions and completing the charts thoroughly.
This packet is great for a sub-activity, homework assignment, or for distance learning.
*** If a link is broken, digital copies of the pages have been added to the document.
Topics include:
- Fingerspelling
- Eye contact

- Communication etiquette
- Gallaudet university
and so much more! There are a total of 12 individual WebQuests.
