Description

This student led project comes with a rubric that has explicit directions for students to follow. The project has three components: Math, Science, and Reading/Social Studies. Students can partner to do this project or work independently. Students explore the causes of the dust bowl, and how that relates to scientific concepts of fifth grade, and compare/contrast two author's perspective on why the dust bowl occurred. Students complete a real world Math performance task involving volume and decimals.
