Description
DİSET-FONT (LEGIBLE WRITING FONTS)
Dyslexia Activities Writing Fonts (diset-font) consists of 4 fonts. It aims to teach the student to write legible writing by gradually reducing the stimuli. Who should use these fonts?
- Students who are new to writing
- Students with difficulty in writing legibly/disgraphia
The design purposes of fonts are as follows:
Diset Font-1
This font aims to enable the student to learn and write how to write inside the boxes by modelling the necessary features (slope, spacing, size, shape and line tracking) for legible writing of letters. In this activity, the student is asked to write over the letters. Thus, these five important features (slope, space, size, shape and line tracking) will be gained.
Diset Font-2
This font is designed for the student to practise writing the words in the boxes with grid lines. The student is asked to place the words in the boxes by looking at the given text. After enough practice in the first font, this font is used.
Diset Font-3
This font is the stage of writing words inside the boxes. It was designed to enable the student to write legible writing without any guidance (slope, spacing, size, format and line tracking) when the student needs to write on an unlined paper.
Diset Font-4
This font is the last part of the independent writing phase. The text to be written is read to the student and the student is asked to write on the basis of the guide lines in the spaces whose widths are designed parallel to the size of the letters.
