Description

Hello and welcome to Twin Speech! We are happy to share our latest creation with you today!

We are super excited about this resource! It features the teaching of the 50 most frequently used first words of children. Yes! That's right... it's our most functional document to date! It includes the training of 50 early words for little ones to learn and several ways on how to teach and reinforce the teaching of them!

Now, you can give parents and caregivers only one handout at a time and feature a word of the week if you desire! Everything suggested are activities that can be done during daily routines.

We have put years of clinical experience and expertise into this document and we hope that you can see that they will be beneficial handouts to share with caregivers and educators all throughout the year. They would be perfect to hand out after a speech therapy session focusing on the teaching of each one. This is what you can expect in this download:

1) That you will find that the handouts are ready for your immediate download so that they can be given to a parent or caregiver whenever you wish.

2) That we only focused on the 50 most frequently used first words to keep this download functional to the max!

3) Two versions of the same 77 page document. One is in colored ink and the other one is presented in black ink only. It will be your choice of which type of handout that you would like to download, print out and use.

Do you want to know what is presented on every page? This is the summary:

A) First sound/letter of the word in American Sign.

B) Visual and written cues of the first sound of each word.

C) Ideas on how to use the targeted word throughout the day.

D) A speech and language enhancing tip.

E) Illustrated and detailed description on how to produce the sign of each word.

F) Illustrated picture and sign of the targeted word for a choice board.

ATTENTION: Please know that half of the illustrated signs are also presented in our Illustrated Early Sign Language Unit. Please do not buy our other Illustrated Signs Unit if you plan to purchase this document too. Illustrated Early Sign Language Speech Therapy Unit
