Economics Songs Mini Book
Need an engaging way to teach economic terms? Feel like singing (or not?)? Then I have the resource for you!
This easy-to-assemble mini book teaches these basic economics terms: consumer, producer, wants, needs, goods, services, money, bartering, scarcity, natural resources, human resources, and capital resources
Catchy songs are used to teach the concepts. Sing hits like “I Will Survive” to teach about wants vs. needs, “Happy” to teach about services, or “You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman” to teach about natural resources. Songs are rewritten so that students can sing and practice. Before they know it, they’ve memorized these important terms.
A definition page is included as well as a suggestions for use page.
Don’t feel comfortable singing outside of your shower? That’s ok! I've set up a Teacher Tube account you can visit to hear all the songs. Just copy the book, hit play, and let your students sing along. Website addresses/QR codes for each song is included in the packet.
