Editable Syllabus Templates are an ideal tool to use with students.
Inspiration:
As a middle school teacher I want my students and their parents/guardians to feel enthusiastic about our year together. While it is important that I help my students increase their independence as learners, I find it is also essential to keep parents/guardians informed about the work we are doing in my ELA classroom. On the first day of school and at our “Meet the Teacher Night” I like to share my class syllabus. Within my syllabus I include:
•the learning that is taking place in my classroom
•my contact information
•Schoology info
•grading scale and policies
•assignments and assessments
•materials needed for success each day
Directions for Use:
I have attached an example of the syllabi I utilize with my students, and created some different editable versions in order for you to create syllabus that works for your students, parents/guardians, administration, and YOU!
***Note these templates are offered as an editable PowerPoint File. If you would like to incorporate them into Google Slides, the easiest way is to save your finished design as an image PNG file and then insert it into your Google slides presentation.
