What educators are saying
Description
This resource includes two complete days of math substitute plans, including the lesson plans and estimated times of completion for the substitute to refer to.

The unique aspect of this emergency sub resource is that it focuses on a specific skill. The two days both review dividing 3- and 4-digit whole numbers by 2-digit whole numbers.
No more scrambling at the last minute to find review pages that you hope the students can complete. By using these substitute plans (after you have taught division by two digit divisors), you will be providing meaningful sub work that you know your students can complete.
Each day comes with the following:
- Lesson for the substitute to follow
- Three activities
- Two extension activities for early finishers
The activities include:
- A word problem activity with a substitute script for guided practice
- Two pages of independent practice that are self-checking (one page of computation and one page of word problems). The computation page is a "Color by Quotient" so the students will need crayons or colored pencils.
- A division maze that can be used as an extension activity.
- A division choice board with six activities that can be used for an extension activity or used for math classes that are longer than 60 minutes (you will need to write in how many choices you want the students to complete as I left this blank on the lesson plan)
Answer keys for all activities (except the choice boards since many of those are open ended)
