In this activity, students will solve math problems to fill in the blanks on a passage about the monuments and memorials that can be found in Washington, D.C. Correct answers will earn the students a "selfie" to collect from that site as they help fictional students learn about the sites they are visiting.
Build An Ice Cream Sundae Math Project:
Practice math skills of adding and subtracting decimals while creating both tasty and tacky ice cream sundaes! Students will love designing ice creams that sound yummy and others that sound gross (broccoli and toothpaste? Ewww!) Teachers will love how much MATH WORK goes into these ice cream creations!
