What educators are saying

Loved this as an end of the year resource! My students only know Canva basics, but they had fun using this to learn some extras!

Description

If you are looking for a FUN end of the year project for your students that you can also use as a bulletin board at the beginning of the year, THIS is for you! **Please note that I do highly recommend you are decently familiar with Canva if you purchase this project. = )

What is included:

  • Examples
  • Teacher directions (with screenshots to try to help you navigate canva)
  • Canva template for your students
  • Bulletin Board letters

How this works:
I use this as an end of the year project that can be displayed on ”Meet the Teacher” night for my future students. Students first brainstormed the ABCs with a small group in their class using the sheet included in this packet. Next, I wrote we came together as a class and shared our answers and decided what word we wanted to choose for each letter for our class. Since I have three classes, I took it one step farther and after doing steps one and two for each class, we voted on a word for the entire group using a poll on Google Classroom. My goal was to end up with ONE word for each letter that represented all three of our classes. I told students to brainstorm things that were specific to our grade, not something that they have every year (like field day, etc.) Once we created our final list, students worked in groups to create a Canva slide for their letter. I uploaded the Canva project onto Google Classroom and they accessed it from there. They could see every letter, but only worked on theirs.
