Question: What technology is needed for the set?

• Answer: Students can do this escape room without any technology, but technology options are also included. The digital music memory book, virtual classroom, and the musical choice boards require Google Slides. The bingo game can be done without any technology (except for a way to play the Spotify playlist.)

Question: How long does each activity take to complete?

• Answer: The escape room is set up to take 30 minutes or less, once students receive the directions, so it is ideal for a class that is 35 minutes or more. The digital memory book could be completed in 1-2 lessons (depending on how long you give students.) The bingo game, summer-themed musical choice boards, and virtual classroom can be done in all or part of 1 lesson.

Question: How much prep work does each set take?

• Answer: Most of the prep work for this escape room includes copying onto paper or cardstock, putting some of the copies into envelopes, and setting up in your room. Once you've set it up once, you can keep the materials in a bin for your next escape room! You can simply provide a link to the choice boards, summer virtual classroom, and digital music memory book. For the bingo cards, you'll simply need to print out the cards, get some bingo chips, and pull up the Spotify playlist.
