What educators are saying

I absolutely LOVE these resources! My students enjoy the choices they are given and find purpose in answering the Essential Question as they complete their assignments.
I teach an inclusion 11th grade class and so I have used bits and pieces of these resources with my students. Some struggle heavily with technology so I have not given them the slides in choice board format, but it is still a great resource with lots to use even outside of the choice board format.

    Description

Finding the time to track down supplemental resources for your units is difficult, so I've done all of that for you. Each digital choice board in this bundle is defined by a juicy Essential Question and each board contains 25 supplemental resources that will help students broaden and deepen their answers to that essential question.

If you have your novel unit ready to go but just need one more thing to broaden the unit a bit outside the central text or texts, these digital choice boards are the perfect way to do that.

While my other choice boards are more aligned with heritage months and seasons, this particular bundle is focused on big ideas and essential questions. These can be used year-round no matter what time of year you are teaching about these concepts.

Currently, the bundle contains the following EQs:

    • Why do relationships matter?
    • Which is more powerful: fear or hope?
    • To what extent is America a dystopia?
    • To what extent does gothic fiction depict the human condition?
    • Is the American Dream more likely to inspire or destroy?
    • To what extent do trauma, tragedy, and adversity build resilience?
    • To what extent does the media impact my sense of self?
    • What does it take to be a great leader?
    • Are rebels required in order for a society to progress?

Each choice board is completely editable, so you are able to adjust the EQs to fit your personal curriculum.
