Ethics at Work

Ethics at Work (95 lessons) is a curriculum that teaches higher functioning special education students (LD, AUTISTIC, BD, etc) about ethical behavior in the work place.
It was developed with enough lessons to use 2-3 times a week for the entire school year.
It was developed to replace textbooks.
The following Areas are taught:
AREA 1 - HONESTY AND WORK - 7 lessons
AREA 2 - BASIC SKILLS - 6 lessons
AREA 3 - COMMUNICATION - 9 lessons
AREA 4 - FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS - 8 lessons
AREA 5 - LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISION - 12 lessons
AREA 6 - SAFETY - 9 lessons
AREA 7 - WORK HABITS - 22 lessons
AREA 8 - WORKING WITH OTHERS - 20 lessons
TOTAL NUMBER OF LESSONS - 95

Each Area starts out with lesson 1 that explains why the Area is to be studied and a list of vocabulary words and meanings. Lesson 2 is a vocabulary quiz covering the vocabulary in lesson 1.

After Lessons 1 and 2, the students are given a series of lessons presenting workplace scenarios. Each lesson has 10 comprehension questions and 5 affective questions (What would you do if...?)

This curriculum is excellent to use as a class activity after the students have individually completed and handed in lesson to be graded. The affective questions generate GREAT classroom discussions.
