Description

******The reduced fee is due to this packet being created in 2021*******

I have created this senior packet that has all the information a senior can need. I have edited the entire document with words in red for what you would have to edit, with tips in red too. If your school does not use SCOIR, it can be replaced with Naviance or whichever platform you all use. It is editable to however you'd like, and it is a great resource if you want to tailor it to your own school.

This document consists of 31 pages but this can change if you alter any of the information. I will provide an outline of what the document consists of since you don't see much from the thumbnails.

TIPS: Change the font colors to your school colors! : )

Upon Request-I can send you my copy so you can see what it looks like in school colors and as a final copy. ealevet@gmail.com

Cover Page-Congratulating seniors for making it to senior year, things to think about, what you need to know about the packet.
Table of Contents-helps students and parents to easily navigate the packet to find what they're looking for.
Senior FYI-Some important information in bullet form-almost like a TLDR; in today's language.

Dates to Remember-Easy calendar to see important dates/deadlines

Graduation Requirements-this includes information on requirements to graduate as well as a transcript audit form that can be edited to fit your school.
SCOIR-This page can be edited for whichever platform you all use to send documents to colleges and universities for students. It is very descriptive of what all SCOIR can do. This includes a page on YouScience. Some schools use this without SCOIR. It is free with SCOIR.

Selecting A College- How to select a college, there is mention of SCOIR here but can be edited to whatever you use (collegescorecard, etc.)
College Visits/Tours-SCOIR has virtual visits this year, but it discusses the importance of visiting college with a link to virtual college tours.

ACT/SAT Test Dates and Deadlines-editable chart and help links

Scholarship Info/Requests Form-I have provided a list of search engines for scholarships as well as a list of specific scholarships with direct links. You can edit to add or remove, especially if there are scholarships specific to your school or city. The request form is used to request letters of recommendation and other information from counselors and teachers.

College Visits by Reps-This is done through SCOIR, but it can be edited to whatever the process is for college rep visits at your school.

Common App/Coalition-direct links for signing up and links for how to use these platforms with SCOIR.

TOPS/LOSFA-For Louisiana, we have TOPS awards for students who meet the requirements. It will be called something different if you are not from LA. It can easily be replaced with what your school offers.

FAFSA

Teacher Recommendation-This explains how to request letters of recommendation from our teachers.

Password Keeper-this page allows students to keep track of websites, usernames, and passwords.
Senior Checklist-This is a checklist to be used to make sure they are still working on the things they need to be working on. Something for them to consider to help build their resume.

MUST READ-compliance form that they must read the packet with their parents. With a form that collects information.

References-perfect to add some quick links from within the entire packet.
