This product was created to complement the Ontario Curriculum Grade 1 Science strand;

FRENCH Daily and Seasonal Changes, Le cycle des jours et des saisons*

This product includes;

• Spinners for Interactive Notebooks or as a stand-alone activity. Le jour/la nuit, les 4 saisons.

• Le soleil - Identify the sun as Earth’s principal source of heat and light.

• Graphic Organizers - Décrire et comparer les différentes caractéristiques des quatre saisons, décrire les changements de température à différents moments de la journée.

• Graphic Organizers - Describe how we prepare for and respond to daily and seasonal changes.

• Collaborative Book - Encourage students to contribute to a class book about their observations of seasonal changes. Includes a cover page and 2 template pages. Copy as many as needed to create a class book you can keep all year-long!

• Describe changes in the appearance or behaviour of living things that are adaptations to seasonal changes.

• Describe how we prepare for and respond to daily and seasonal changes.

• Assess the impact of daily and seasonal changes on outdoor activities.

• Assess ways in which daily and seasonal changes have an impact on society and the environment.

☼ Differentiate by choosing between pages that provide space for drawing, writing or include examples to get students started.
