Description

Connect Real-Life, Authentic Experiences to Academic Content with Service Learning Projects (SLP)

In this SLP, students will go on a walking field trip to drop-off, and pick-up food bags from their neighbors' homes. Students will deliver the bags to a local food donation center, work with community volunteers to sort the goods, and then return to school to reflect on the experience.
