What educators are saying

Used in my general education class with multilingual learners. Very engaging for all students and I plan to use this for years to come!
I loved this resource because it included sight word practice, beginning and ending sounds, labeling, and comprehension. I loved that in the same resource it included number recognition.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

---------------------------------

Fall Slideshow

Using real-life pictures, this slideshow walks students through the changes that happen during fall. Basic sentences describe how leaves change, the weather gets colder, animals get ready for winter, etc. See the product preview for all the slides included. Slideshow comes in a PDF format.

Mini Book

Students can read and color their mini book that coordinates well with the slideshow.

Fall Vocabulary

Vocabulary charts in both color and BW teach students six key words to know about fall. Students trace the words in one version and read the words in the other.

Words include pumpkin, leaves, turkey, wheat, pie and corn

Fall Senses

Learn all about fall using your five senses! Included are beautiful picture cards for students to sort to learn about what fall looks like, sounds like, smells like, feels like and tastes like. Students can sort these colorful cards under the correct headings and then fill out the coordinating graphic organizer.

Fall Sentence Building

Included are seven different fall activity pages where students cut out the words, match and paste them in the correct spot. Then they can write the sentence on their own and illustrate a picture to match. This helps students see exactly how to write a sentence and works on so many writing skills.

Fall Numbers and Counting

An adorable mini book helps students count and practice numbers 1-12. Students read the sentence and color the objects on each page. Also included is a cut/paste numbers 1-10 activity.

Thanksgiving Labeling

Two activities included that come in both color and BW. Students cut out the words and place them in the correct box to label the pictures.

Leaf Art

Included are printables for leaf patterns, leaf drawings/rubbings, a blank leaf art page and a leaf coloring page students can color, paint or decorate the leaves in the correct color.

Fall Graphing

Included are two different activity pages in both color and BW for students to count and graph the fall objects.

Fall Sorting

Two different sorting activities (different leaves and fall objects) in both color and BW for students to cut out and sort in the correct spot,. These make great fall centers or even small group activities.

Fall Writing Prompts

Four different prompts are given, and each page has a sentence frame for students to complete. These coordinate with the books we read for the unit, and students then illustrate a picture to match.

I use these activities throughout the month of November to enhance and enrich our read aloud stories about fall. You can use any books with these activities, but I have outlined specific stories that lend themselves to these activities. You can read my blog post HERE
