What educators are saying

This was a great way to help teach my class all about tornadoes while also helping them plan an emergency kit/evacuation plan! Very engaging, user-friendly, and fun! Thank you very much!
Thank you so much for creating this. As a teacher it is sometimes overwhelming to come up with and create different things. My students loved this. They are so thankful for all the fun activities.

Description

Welcome to My Coastal Classroom!

After the recent hurricanes trampled my area and other areas of the US, I wanted some kind of plan for my students to complete with their families. It's crucial for everyone in your family to be prepared. Here's a way for parents and kids to talk to each other and communicate the best ways to be ready!

Included in this trifold are spaces to discuss:

-hurricane information in a KWL-type format

-survival kits

-emergency contacts

-5 important items students would want to bring in an emergency

-safe locations (in the house, outside the house, and other than the house)

-parent signature to encourage family participation

-plan for communication with family members

-plan for pet safety

Sorry, this foldable is NOT editable.

I hope you always weather the storm!
