What educators are saying

I just started using a couple of your bulletin board products and my students are really liking them. Thanks!
My students loved this interactive activity. It was perfect for what I needed to teach and it reached all of my students learning levels.

Description

Engaging activities for hands-on life skills & job skills that can be done on the board for a group lesson, or independent task box for special education! Learn basic vocational skills like assembling food orders before going to an off-campus job, or an age-appropriate way to practice skills that you would need on a CBI community outing.

This activity comes with:

  • Tray Printables (2 levels)
  • 12 fast food item printables (different sizes for drinks & fries)
  • Visual Menus with and without prices
  • 20 visual order receipt task cards
  • 28 order receipt task cards for higher level
  • 6 Order Header Labels
  • 1 blank set of order receipt
  • Script for chef & customer
  • 3 "FAST FOOD" banners
  • Table of contents for easy printing (see preview)

This resource requires printing, laminating, cutting & velcro (or magnet/thumbtacks depending on how you choose to use these activities), but once prepped, I promise they will be engaging activities you can use all year, and year after year!

ACTIVITIES:

  • Using a task card or the "ORDER #" Header, the student put correct fast food items on the tray.
  • For higher level, up to 6 "ORDER #" headers across the bulletin board/table, and have student fulfill all orders.
  • Take this activity to the next level by having students simulate a fast food order & customer service.
  • Time student on getting correct orders out to customers in time.

Additional Ideas:

  • Hang printables up on a bulletin board using staples or a thumb tack.
  • Trays can be put up with velcro or thumb tacks.
  • No wall space or bulletin boards? No problem, this activity can be done on a table . Task cards and order prep activity also makes a for a great independent work box activity.
