Feudal Japan Unit

In this unit of work, students learn about the Asia-Pacific work through the depth study of Japan under the Shoguns’ (c.794 – 1867). This unit has been selected as essential to the teaching and learning of humanities at year 8 level as it demonstrates social, economical and political structures beyond what students have previously learnt from the ancient world and Greece and Rome, and much of Europe across the Medieval Period.
