Description
A figurative language center that is seasonal and aligned with the standards!
The students will review the four main types of figurative language: similes, metaphors, hyperboles, and personification with this sort activity. The students will sort the pieces of chocolates into groups based on what figurative language is being described or used in the sentence.
This resource is available in color and black and white. The black and white version would allow you to have the students cut and glue to create a Valentine's Day themed craftivity.
This can be used as a reading center, RTI center, workstation activity, or craftivity (the black and white version)
