These figurative language posters and cheat sheet / student reference sheet provide a student-friendly definition, an example, and a visual of 6 different types of figurative language. You can also use these posters to build a figurative language anchor chart.
The posters and cheat sheet address the following types of figurative language:
- alliteration
- onomatopoeia
- similes
- metaphors
- personification
- hyperbole
These posters are in both full page and half page sizes.
