These are the sight word poems I use for shared reading!
I have provided 4 options for each poem:
- trace the focus sight word on primary lines
- trace the focus sight word on regular lines
- trace the focus sight word and write it on your own 1-3 times (depending on the poem) on primary lines
- trace the focus sight word and write it on your own 1-3 times (depending on the poem) on regular lines
There is a file for poems in Canadian/British spelling and a file for poems with American spelling (for words like favourite, colour etc.)
The first 6 pages is an educator guide which walks you through how I use these poems whole group and in small groups.
