This product about purchasing a car contains many activities meant for middle school and high school students. Consumer math can be very confusing particularly for students who have very little experience. This project contains activities to help build a greater understanding of what goes into buying a car, how it works, and what a buyer has to consider before making such a large purchase. It explores the different aspects of car buying including searching for a car online, getting a car loan, the advantages of a new vs used car and the true costs of owning a car for 5 years.

It is set up with different activities so that they can be completed at home or at school depending on your preference. This is a great component to any math class to help students become better prepared to be a responsible consumer!

The entire project is able to be edited to meet the specific needs of your classroom and students.
