Description

Math 1.9(B) Identify income as a means of obtaining goods and service, often times making choices between wants and needs

Social Studies 1.8(A) Identify examples of goods and services in the home, school, and community
1.9(C) Identify examples of choices families make when buying goods and services

Pocket Chart sorting activity which can also be used to be class anchor charts to display. Comes with many anchor chart and sorting display options.

**ALL pieces come with color and black and white options!**

2 headers - Goods, Services
48 sorting cards (24 goods, 24 services)
3 sorting headers - Home, School, Community (use with 24 service cards)
2 corresponding recording sheets for identifying good/services
3 cut/paste assessments to sort goods/services
Set of anchor chart to define goods/services (headers, 5 descriptor cards each, 6 example cards each)

Services - meeting need or a want
1 puzzle game - "Services and their Providers"
24 matches of a service with provider (community helper)
4 corresponding recording sheet for services provided by community helpers

"Life Surprises" Game
-Directions, prompting questions, and kids questioning guide
-sheets of play money for game
-50 need or want cards (20 food, 10 drink, 10 leisure, 10 homes)
