This mini unit includes everything you need to teach your students about force and motion.
The packet includes six 5-E lesson plans for each of these essential questions:
How do things move?
What is speed?
What is gravity?
What is a ramp?
What is a magnet?
What is magnetic?
Each lesson includes multiple real life picture cards that you can project in your classroom using technology or that you can print out to generate a discussion at the beginning of your lesson. The pictures include topics and questions for your students to discuss.This will help build schema and get your students thinking about the essential questions. Each lesson also includes activities (experiments), extension ideas, and a list of the materials that you will need to gather before each lesson.
The science activities and experiments will let your students explore each concept in a hands-on format.
Each activity comes with multiple recording sheets, science notebook components and ways to evaluate your students.
This packet will make it simple for you to teach these standards and is in a format that your students will LOVE.
