Also includes a set of interactive, self-checking digital Boom Cards that assess students' understanding of all four seasons of the year.

The Boom Cards use the real, full-color photographs from the PowerPoint presentations and have both audio and written directions for young learners.

They can be accessed on a laptop, desktop, iPad, smartphone, tablet, or interactive whiteboard.

The first 4 cards require students to look at a picture and click the correct season from 2 choices. The cards are self-checking. A correct answer will be circled in green and students will automatically be taken to the next card. An incorrect answer will be circled in red and an “oops” sound will be heard. Students can then try again.

The next 4 cards require students to select ALL the pictures of things that they may see during the season stated in the directions and then click the Submit button. When the students first click on the pictures they will be circled in blue so they can see their choices. Once they click the Submit button, correct answers will turn green and incorrect ones will turn red. If they have not clicked on all of the correct answers, a red bar will show across the top of the screen that says “You have not found all the correct answers.”. Students can then try again and click the Submit button to see if they are correct.

Card 9 requires students to sort the clothes into the correct season (box) by dragging and dropping them and then clicking the Submit button to see if they are correct. Any incorrect answers will be moved back down to the bottom. Students can then try again and click the Submit button. Once all the clothes are sorted correctly, students will be automatically taken to the next card in the deck.

Card 10 requires student to sort 4 pictures by dragging and dropping them into the correct boxes (season) and clicking the Submit button. Any incorrect answers will be moved back to the side of screen. Students can then try again and click the Submit button. Once all the pictures are sorted correctly, students will be automatically taken to the next card in the deck.

Please see the preview file for a playable sample of the digital Boom Cards.
