You'll find four posters to help illustrate essential components of fractions... fractions, numerators, denominators and equal parts.

    Interactive Student Book:

The book includes 12 interactive pages which cover: What is a Fraction?, Numerators, Denominators, Wholes, Parts of a Whole, Halves, Thirds, Fourths, Fifths, Sixths, Equal Parts, Labeling Fractions, Sorting Fractions, and Comparing Fractions.

    Fractions Clip Cards:

    Fractions SCOOT:

This game includes 24 task cards, recording page and an answer key. It can be played as a traditional Scoot game, as an "I Spy" game (by hiding the cards around the classroom and having students work in pairs to find and solve them), or as a simple task card activity for your Math Center.

    Fishy Fractions Fishbowl Craftivity:

Included in this set you'll find everything you need to create an awesome little fish bowl craftivity. When students have finished creating their fish bowl, they will count how many fish they have of each different color and write a fraction for each one. Then, all the pieces will be assembled on a 9x12 piece of construction paper and displayed in the hallway for everyone to enjoy!

Partition circles and rectangles into two, three, or four equal shares, describe the shares using the words halves, thirds, half of, a third of, etc., and describe the whole as two halves, three thirds, four fourths. Recognize that equal shares of identical wholes need not have the same shape.
Partition shapes into parts with equal areas. Express the area of each part as a unit fraction of the whole. For example, partition a shape into 4 parts with equal area, and describe the area of each part as 1/4 of the area of the shape.
