Goods and Services - Bienes y Servicios - English and Spanish!!

My students have so much fun doing these activities.

- The students brainstorm what makes our town special, unique and a great place to live.

1 - Large pictures of services and goods buildings. Print them in color and put them in a bag for the students to choose one and decide if that place provides a service or goods, and glue it on "The Class Streets"

2 - After that, use the other set of buildings for a pair activity. One of the students will create the "goods" streets by identifying places in the community where goods can be found. His partner creates the "service" street by identifying places in the community where services can be found. The students should decide whether we get goods or services in each building.

3 - The center is made with two large pieces of construction paper (one for each street). Each street has velcro on the buildings and students must decide if they should stick the buildings onto the goods or the services street.

- All material and instructions needed for the projects are included.
