Description

Use this bi-fold to help students learn basic geometry terms.

Students complete a chart of terms, visuals, definitions, and symbols for basic geometric terms. Print the layout to create a bi-fold page, or print pages separate to attach in an interactive notebook. Answer key included.

This is a great activity to incorporate technology in a simple way! Have students use the internet to complete their charts. A box on the cover asks students to lists their sources. (Remind students that the first definition they find may not be the “math” definition they need!)

The foldable includes terms like line, parallel, quadrilateral, scalene triangle, etc. I choose words that students learn in middle school geometry, but often need to review in high school geometry. A blank template is provided to use for more vocabulary words.
