Description

Goods and Services Economics lessons - Social Studies lessons for K, 1st, 2nd.

This is an interactive Google Slides file (77 slides) with 11 accompanying B&W printable worksheet activities. An 8 day detailed lesson plan is included, though this unit could be taught in less/more days as time permits.

This product includes a Google Slides file that can be used for teaching on the smartboard (it is very interactive - lots of student involvement!) or can be assigned in Google Classroom for students to complete individually. The lessons include many activities, included ones where students will sort goods and services. A digital version of The Little Red Hen is included in the slides (easy reader) and is used in part of the lesson to teach goods and services. I also reinforced our "long ago & today" standard in part of the lesson by teaching about bread production long ago, vs. bread production today, as well as farming then and now and a few other economics topics. The lessons could easily be stretched across as many days as needed. The beauty of using my social studies units is that you just teach directly from the slides. All the information your students need to know will be covered as you work through the slides and worksheets together. My lessons are rich with vocabulary and information and will help you meet the rigor you are aiming for in your classroom.

The Google Slides are made to be fun, interactive, and engaging for little learners.
