Grammar Blocks - French Possessive Adjectives with emphasis on "family" vocab

I designed GRAMMAR BLOCKS to be used in both classroom and language lab situations. They are designed to be student friendly. Weaker students appreciate the suggested answers and students who want to be challenged can offer their own individual answers.

I accept worksheets from students based upon completion. Although students self-correct their answers, I only use the score to assess students’ abilities. My students like Grammar Blocks more than paper and pencil activities. I often allow a student to present the PowerPoint in the classroom for everyone while I practice speaking tasks with individuals. I also use Grammar Blocks in our foreign language as an addition option to Rosetta Stone. Grammar Blocks are used for a 40 minute class period (a few are less than 40 minutes) if done in class, but can be easily done as a warm up activity over multiple days.

I have tried to cover essential verb tenses and topics appropriate for Level 1 & 2 French and Spanish and have focused on vocabulary topics for LOTE Standards A and some of B.

Please keep in mind that vocabulary may differ from the textbook that you use. I have had colleagues preview these presentations but realize that language is always evolving and differs in other parts of the world. Please feel free to change slides that accommodate your classroom.
