Description

Hit your science standards while having holiday fun with this student-centered STEM lesson. Your students have been tasked with helping a vampire hand out candy during daylight in this fall lesson. Students will use force and motion to design a prototype to launch the candy from a distance. This is designed so students can think beyond just a catapult. This fall elementary engineering project contains criteria and constraints, allowing for open-ended design while exploring science standards.
