You can use these cards in so many ways! My favorite is to place them around the room (some in tricky locations) and students "scoot" around the room to try to find each card.

When they find the card, they will finger stretch the word, then read the sentence. They will then have to sort the word into the correct category.

Do you love the game "Heads Up?" Have students work with partners. One student puts the card on their forehead. The other student tries to get them to say and spell the word.

Challenging behaviors? Have those students help hide 1 task card. Watch their joy as they have some control in the activity.

These are great for stations, centers, and small groups! Place the cards facedown on the table. Students can take turns pulling a card. They will finger stretch the word, then read the sentence, then write the word in the correct space.

Teacher Tip: If you have early finishers, have students use the words in sentences on the back of the recording paper.

Perfect for sub plans! No Prep! Easy to use! Answer key included!
