Description

Here is a fun worksheet to color a Halloween pumpkin based on the valence electrons of an atom. Students may either do an electron configuration to figure this out, or use the short cut method, that is: The column number at the top of the periodic table indicates the number of valence electrons. All one would need then is a periodic table. So anything in the Hydrogen column would have a 1....etc, It is of course "color by number" not paint by number
