Description

This 2-pack of experiments allows students to explore the key concepts of matter and its changes in a fun and engaging way. Exploratory learning helps students see how heat (or the removal of heat) can change matter and allows them to better grasp the physical properties of matter. Students have the opportunity to develop scientific vocabulary in an authentic, real world experience.

Teaching duration can range from a single morning (if both experiments are used together to do a fun Mattter Morning) or across a whole week.

This 26-page lesson packet includes:

-2 lesson plans outlining edible science experiments relating to matter.

-teacher vocabulary reference lists for each lesson

-vocabulary word wall cards and student journal cards

-recommendation for online media to coordinate

-2 student vocabulary organizers

-2 student assessment/printable packets

-3 foldables that can be used to support student learning

-2 sets volunteer/parent helper directions
