After many months of remote learning, MANY of our students are struggling with all aspects of handwriting.
This 23-page packet is specifically geared to the upper elementary school student and older, with all lines sized to standard wide-ruled paper, as would be found in a looseleaf binder or spiral and marble notebook so that skills can be transferred over and practiced on those papers as well.
All lines are tri-spaced to provide visual cues for letter-size and Capital-lower case ratio.
These 23 worksheets cover:
- Review and practice all capital and lower case letters.
- Copy sentences focused on each letter of the alphabet in letterboxes and on tri-lines. Challenge your students to size and space their letters so that each sentence fits on only one line.
- Copy paragraphs from a near point, to practice chunking strategies.
- Independently write sentences and fill in words to complete a paragraph (without a model) and practice address writing from memory while learning to address an envelope.
