This handwriting extension pack comes with everything you need to teach all 52 letters, assess and track student progress, as well as awards to celebrate students' hard work and achievements! These activities teach students how to write each letter with correct directionality.

We study letter formations and group specific letters together to help children recognize patterns within our alphabet.

• These worksheets teach students how to form and write all 52 letters with correct directionality.
• Differentiated versions for every worksheet are included.

One version has stars showing students where to place their pencils to start each letter, and the other version does not have stars.

Copy these two versions back to back to provide scaffolding for students.

• These worksheets also teach students to trace and write CVC words and short sentences with the specific letters they have learned.

ASSESSMENTS

• Assess students after they learn each formation and group of letters.
• There are 7 formation groups that cover all 52 letters.

I prefer to teach handwriting in small groups to ensure students learn each letter correctly.

I assess students to make sure they have learned to write all the letters in a group before moving on to teach them the next formation and group of letters.

PROGRESS REPORTS

• Keep parents informed on their child's progress! These are quick and easy to fill out after giving the assessments.

These can also be used for report cards or records for student files.
