Health Professions Museum Fieldtrip Guide - Florida - Science Careers

This fieldtrip guide was created for 5th graders to enjoy the NSU Health Professions Museum on the Nova Southeastern University campus. This is a 'free' museum in South Florida. See: http://www.nova.edu/chcs/directions.html This field trip guide can be modified for use with other grade levels. We bring only 1 class at a time so that the students can get the most out of the experience. If you contact the medical school they also offer tours to high school classes. We are able to run this fieldtrip with or without the curator as the medicinal tools are in cases behind the glass. Our fieldtrip lasts about an hour. The Health Professions Museum has an amazing collection of medical tools and measurement tools from throughout history!
