    Description

⭐⭐⭐Introducing the High Frequency Sight Words Bundle by Tweet Resources⭐⭐⭐

⭐ UPDATE: In May 2022 Tweet Resources updated this package to include a Science of Reading version including heart words. Three versions each of sets 1-3 are now included in this purchase: the original Sight Words Fluency and Word Work Set, a Science of Reading version incorporating "heart words" and a new updated package that is similar to the original version except with more decodable words and more repetition of previously introduced words.

High-frequency words (also known as sight words) are the backbone of early reading and literacy development. They provide the necessary tools for fluent and meaningful reading, enhance comprehension, and boost a child's confidence and independence as a reader. Therefore, it's essential to prioritize the teaching and learning of high-frequency words as part of early literacy instruction.

That's precisely why we've meticulously crafted this package, weaving together the principles of the science of reading with the art of effective teaching. Our approach revolves around the seamless integration of word work and fluency, aligning with evidence-based practices. Within this comprehensive package, your students will not only encounter high-frequency words in isolation but will also engage deeply with them within meaningful contexts. They will read these words fluently, fostering their word recognition skills, and practice writing them to enhance their spelling and handwriting abilities.

The following Dolch and Fry list words are currently included in this bundle, in this order:

We have had this package tested in a Kindergarten classroom, and the teachers had this to say about Sight Word Fluency and Word Work:

"I am thrilled with the progress I have seen in my kindergarten students since we began using your Sight Word Fluency and Word Work pack! My students are very engaged as they read through each page. The repetition and practice have helped them retain new sight words. They are also becoming much more fluent as readers. I am seeing my students become very confident with these passages. They are always excited to bring them home to read to their families!" (Susan J~Kindergarten Teacher)
