    Description

    This bundle includes all of my best-selling Holocaust resources as well as resources for Night by Elie Wiesel. Keep your students engaged with 5+ weeks of materials.

    Through reading, writing, and activities, students will be introduced to the Holocaust and build an understanding of the events leading up to this genocide and the effects on the individuals targeted by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. A introductory presentation and stations activities will begin to build students' background knowledge and a themed set of reading and responses will continue to build that knowledge. Students will learn about diverse individuals and experiences through a set of victim identity cards and corresponding activities. Students will examine the role of propaganda and nutrition leading up to and during World War II. Students can culminate their learning with research essay.

    Also included is everything you need for teaching Night by Elie Wiesel. Teach challenging language as well as historical terms (places, names, events) with warmups & closings, homework, and a vocabulary quizzes. Engage students in all six levels of Bloom's Taxonomy with learning menus of questions and activities. After reading, ask students to use text evidence to respond to a series of constructed response writing prompts.
