Description

This Homophones vocabulary visual PowerPoint activity helps students identify homophones, homographs, and homonyms with pictures. Homophones are frequently confused words that sound the same but have different meanings and spelling, like there, their, and they're. They are easily and commonly confused words that are often found on state tests. Illustrated homophones will help students remember which ones are which! Slide presentation has homophones and animated pictures to help students remember with an interactive activity where the students must put the homophones in the correct sentences, and then check.

Also includes a self-checking Easel Activity.

Supports Common Core Standards. 35 sets of homophones with sentences for each.
