Hurricanes

This packet was created in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. I knew that when our schools finally started again, the children wanted to discuss the hurricane. I thought the best thing to do would be to make it a learning experience. I have included a kid friendly hurricane read aloud. I created this using many of my own photos. I have included a brace chart, two writing prompts, a weather file folder word wall with pictures, a hurricane safety writing prompt, bibliography, craft idea, and an addition math center.
