Idioms can be tricky, especially for English Language Learners. These fun visual posters are just a few of the thousands of idioms found in the English language. Explicitly teaching some of the most common sayings is important in deepening the understanding of the language.

The posters can be a topic of conversation for the whole class, as well as an engaging activity when combined with the graphic organizers or foldable activities.
